Not gonna lie, I’m slightly terrified about this haha. While I love DJing and cannot wait to tour again, since leaving not for profit (the industry I was in before DJing became full time) I haven’t felt completely fulfilled. The past 6 months have given me the mental space and clarity to really think about the impact I leave on the world and whether I’m actually living up to that. While some may say bandwagon, I say get on board? Starting this podcast seems like a pretty great place to start and if literally 3 people listen and get something out of this, I’ll be happy! The trailer is up on Spotify & Apple now, swipe up via my stories or follow the link in my bio to hear what it’s all about. First episodes will be dropping next week so make sure you give it a lil follow/subscribe while you’re there! 💖

Cheeky lil throwback ♻️

Street fighter: covid edition 🥊

Just updated my Fox Favourites playlist with some fresh finds inspired by the start of spring here in Aus 🌼 Bliss! Link in bio. New snappy featured from my talented pal @patstevensonphoto ✨

Golden hour, second only to happy hour 🙃

Which 2020 Kate are you? I’m currently April with a sprinkle of Feb 🤙🏼

Made you a mix 💛✨ link in bio • anybody recognise the Electro Funk Lovers Remix? 🙈

The face of a girl who made it through @dryjuly !🥂 Managed to raise over $1280 with everyone’s help so a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, shared etc. Also thank you @karinaamarcucci for pushing me to do this properly even though I was reluctant.. for me doing Dry July wasn’t just about raising money but also looking out for myself, I definitely needed to take a break from alcohol. The biggest change for me I noticed with not drinking the past month has been my mental health - like many it’s been a challenge with Covid (June was up there with worst of my life), but the past month not drinking has actually been a complete 180. The first week was hard but once I noticed a difference in how I felt became pretty easy tbh! Definitely going to be something I’m way more cautious with moving forward. Shoot me a message if you have any questions about this side of things, more than happy to discuss further. (I’m all good btw, just sharing my experience 🤙🏼)

Forgot how to dance cute due to covid so here’s me giving up on that idea while I listen to my new mix instead 😂(sorry bout that). Said mix can be found via the link in my bio - It’s a little different to the usual mainroom vibe I play but still fun and full of some of my favourite tunes atm. Let me know if you wanna hear more of this kinda mix! Hope you digggg 🥰

#womensupportingwomen - rather than just sharing a black & white photo of myself, I decided to share a few of the beautiful humans in this industry I know I can always count on and reach out to for support. ❤️ personally I don’t believe I’ve met a single unsupportive woman in this industry tbh and every single one of them is badass in their own unique way. I’m personally over and out with the bullshit some people try to fabricate in regards to pitting us against each other or defining ANYONE’s worth based on label, genre, whatever the fuck it is this week or next. What does it achieve? Pfft. I’d rather celebrate the fact we’re all doing our own thing and that there’s some actual variety in life, hbu? 🍾

Being a DJ in 2020 is just sharing photos that popped up x years ago in order to validate your career. 😅😂
