Sailor: “I just love you sooo much, I want to squish your face all the time!” Scout: “Your breath annoys me. All of the time!”

Just a girl and her two best friends. A full body pregnancy pillow and can of dry shampoo. Happy as a pig in mud. Probably could have brushed the back of my hair before making hubby take this pic though 😬😂
Baby number 3 - Documenting each week! If this is just over half way, I expect I’ll need to be wheeled around at full term. 📸 : @grantdenyer Hair: Hat
I have never been so happy at the sight of my burgeoning double chin!! I’m 20 weeks pregnant and suffer from HG or Hyperemesis Gravidarum.. and I have been SICK, SICK, SICK! At about 5 weeks I was totally bed ridden. But, as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve got a good plan in place this time around.. Have tried to take it easy on myself and have leant on others when needed.. But, I lost ALOT of weight at the start of this pregnancy - about 7 or 8 kilos pretty quickly.. That’s not ideal when you’re trying to grow a healthy baby.. And I needed regular trips to the hospital for fluids to try keep me somewhat stable.. It was scary. I still have “off” days.. but nowhere near how bad I was around the 9- 14 week mark. I still have medication throughout the day to allow me to eat, and keep things down. And, just in the last week I have put on the recommended amount of weight.. AND I AM CELEBRATING!!!!!!! But I want to point out that every woman’s journey is different. If you are a HG Mum please don’t compare yourself to anyone else. That will only leave you feeling inadequate and that’s not right. You are a survivor. You are made of the strongest stuff I know! Everyone’s experience is different. I say this because I don’t want anyone to ever feel they need to compare themselves to someone else. If you are struggling and you are not doing ok, reach out for help. Please. Please do not look at me today - I have makeup on (which I do not wear most days I assure you) and I’m smiling (because today I feel semi-ok but yesterday I did not) and compare yourself with me.. because this a teeny snapshot of my life. It is miserable at times being this sick. I get it. It’s so hard. It’s difficult to explain. Life draining at times.. It can deplete you of your mental strength... but don’t give up. Think of just getting through today. Tomorrow and next week is a different story. Just do your best to get through today. And celebrate the little wins. A sip of water that you’ve kept down. A laugh at something you watched on TV. A cuddle with your children. An extra chin developing. You have got this!
Okay, this is going to be my last post about how many listens... because frankly I don’t think anyone really cares 🤷🏼♀️ except for us - we are in some serious shock!!! We only have 4 episodes released and we’re doing it ourselves with the help of our other team mate @_gsarge and to have nearly FOURTEEN THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS in a few weeks is well beyond what we were expecting. Yay!! But, we are in this for the long haul.. as scary as that sounds. It’s been a great process for us to tell some stories in OUR OWN words.. and in this day and age, I think that’s really important. I don’t know about you... but this year has been hard. And I’m sick of all the crap I read lately. It’s sensationalised. Made up. Beat up... and almost makes you feel worse about yourself.. Well our main aim for this podcast was to be real, authentic and vulnerable 😬 and tell real life stories... hopefully we can all feel a little more human after some lighthearted discussions.. So to everyone who keeps coming back 💋💋💋💋💋💋 Thank you for your support! #itsalltruepodcast
Cheers to the long weekend! 🍜 Hubby took the girls camping this weekend and I’ve never found him sexier 😂 I’ve been very busy... sleeping in, gentle walking around the paddocks, lazing around, eating and binge watching TV. And it has been AMAZING!!! Although, many TV shows have cued the waterworks I have to admit 😭 I’m celebrating tonight by enjoying short soup straight from the container while researching prams, strollers and baby capsules online! Please, please, PLEASE hit me below with your favourite brands as everything has changed since Scout was born! Prams - I want one that drives easily (with one hand preferably ) and has easy and relatively compact pack down! Stroller - Need a light one for easy travelling! Baby capsule & car seat - Safety & comfort is I guess my main priority.. Oh, and if anyone can recommend a good body pillow I would be super grateful too! xx
When did these two go and grow up? I can’t stop looking at this photo taken a week ago. Feeling so happy and blessed today to have two amazing, kind, honest, loving, and very humorous children. Not sure what I did to deserve such special babes, but I will keep squeezing them until they tell me to stop. ❤️❤️❤️
