This was one of the rare moments I got the chance to photograph Kaiser Karl after a Fendi Show. In the expectation that he would rush past me and not pay attention at all, I asked him kindly if it would be possible to take a picture of him. But suddenly he stopped, turned around and answered with a little smile: „Of course you‘re welcome to do that. But please do it FAST!“ Very nice and determined at the same time. MAMA! It’s exactly one year ago. 28.01.2018! The day everything changed. My beautiful sunshine mom, I miss you so deeply! This year was very difficult emotionally, especially 6 weeks later, after my mom passed away, my grandmother followed her. The 2 most important women in my life were suddenly gone. Life is so different now - the life, without you. It was a huge challenge and honestly, it still is, but at the same time I’m so grateful that at least we‘ve had this time together and that I was so lucky you were the woman I was raised by. Raised by the wonderful, warm, positive & humorous energy of this amazing woman, including my grandmother & my great-grandmother, of course! Cheers, endless LOVE & thank you universe 🎈❤️🎈🌈😔
