sharing my experiences with my son (4Years) traveling back home to Thailand and stay 14 days in the hotel in BKK. Thailand shut down the country, so we don't have local covid-19 cases for many months now. The only way, they do...for everyone who return back to TH have to attend the state quarantine. Not allow commercial flights at all, only way to return home is taking the special flight that government had been arranged for us (Thais). Some regulations had been released for expats, spouses etc. The cost of quarantine for Thais is free of charge. But there are options for you to choose alternative state quarantine (ASQ) which you can choose hotel & food with your own cost. I come with my son so everything is free. Today is day 3 for us, hope everything gonna be ok. PS.
