Kai Kee Mee Goreng Restaurant has been operating since 1967 and currently the founder also the ah gong is one of the main person train up 70% of the hokkien mee stalls chef we can find in Klang Valley. Seems like he is the sifu of all. One of a famous local street food in Klang. We order nearly all their signature. 1. Hokkien mee - a kind of taste I have not really taste before. Got its own charactor and flavours. 2. Fry Bee Hoon (white) - totally love a simple dish like this that is filled with wok hei. Classic SImple and BEST! 3. Fried Koey Teow - love the thin and wideness of it, filled with wok hei, I personally felt that its best without the egg. just original is fragrant good! 4. Fry Bee Hoon (dark sauce) 5. Steam Lala 6. After first round at Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh, that did not our mark, we move to second spot immediately to @boeykevin favourite spot which is Famous among local is this Samy Bak Kut Teh since 1989 (read in a FB post saying they started small since then) Samy Bak Kut Teh hav its own cooking method that suits more to my liking. Herbal soup is more intense than Seng Huat, the soup after taste also more collagen that give a nice niam niam. Meat is fresh and soft. Like all the parts that Kevin order. 3 bowls here is slightly more exp as its RM 65 total bill. Most important is taste good. I have been ordering this for a few years already or whenever I am in Klang. @boeykevin shared to me that this is the first and original outlet in Klang that he have been eating and they start operating since 1991, that marks them to be more than 30 years in business. Serving one of a classic kind which is by bowl not claypot version. Order each bowl by what kind of pork parts you like. Soup here to me is like half hanging. Herb not too strong. The collagen after taste not that glueie. Not light or not strong. More like all in the medium taste. Pork is not the soft version. Overall this BKT shop is okay la. Will I come again?
