The making behind ‘Al Wusul’ (The Arrival) created by @kwest88 in collaboration with Good Intentions for the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix in Jeddah. Symbolic of values in Saudi Culture; courage, force and most importantly a vision sharper than most - we wanted to translate that defiance with the new crown jewel of Jeddah. A hood peregrine falcon, that is 15000mm x 12800mm x 3000mm assembled by the best in class producers in the world, on-site by the Red Sea. OPEN CALL Silver Art Projects is inviting applications for its 2022 artist residency @wtc. The ten month residency will provide 25 artists with a stipend and free studio space in Lower Manhattan’s World Trade Center. In addition to the free studio space, artists will be connected through Silver Art’s programming, to curators, artist peers, mentors, arts professionals, collectors, and thought-leaders. Excited to welcome Peter Uka (@peter_uka) to The Dean Collection ✨ Uka’s figurative paintings draws on his memories from Nigeria during his childhood. Both his classical training in realistic figuration and images from his memory convey innate and timeless human emotion, breathing depth into dynamic portrayals. Scenes of growing up in Nigeria, including elements like afro hairstyles and bell-bottom jeans - the bright mannerisms and local customs are all captured in vibrant, visual narrative.
