In an over-filtered and over-fillered (yes, I'm talking injectables) visual-obsessed society, I have a special appreciation for finding that same magic without the artificial components. Yeah, we can synthesize trillions of colors, but they're generally all from coal tar. They're all made of gross shit. (Granted, the chemical engineering behind it is still really cool.) So when you see a bright fuchsia flower or a bold chartreuse leaf or beautiful turquoise algae-tinted waters or full spectrum light refracted into individual wave lengths (a rainbow), it is ✨legitimately amazing✨ that A. that color is produced by nature and B. your brain interprets those light waves in a way that produces this visual experience. 🌈🌈🌈
