I’ve been wanting to visit the Windy City for longer than I can imagine. At one point, I wanted to move here without even have visited yet…I figured I’d fall in love with it and never want to leave. Well, beautiful Chicago absolutely did not disappoint, I experienced one of the best and funnest weeks of my life here! I’ve traveled abroad far more than I’ve traveled domestically. A few fun differences that I noticed: 1) Traveling within the same time zone! No jet lag🥰 2) Signs in English and people speaking English, and even weirder, people having American accents 🤯 3) Learned I didn’t even have an American plug for my power bank 😂🙈 I had to go buy one. 4) A flight under 7 hours!!! 🥰 And not having to go through customs!! 5) Knowing the brands of things and knowing exactly what I’m getting/names of stores to get certain products etc. Not having to take a chance on products on like “well, I hope this works! Or tastes good!” 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 6) HAVING PHONE SIGNAL! Not having to pop into a McDonald’s or Starbucks every chance I get to use wifi and plan my next few moves.
