After 8 amazing years filled with incredible clients, beautiful designs, awesome teams of staff and freelancers, great memories, many triumphs and even some fails, but tons of learning and so much laughter (and tears. Ali the cry baby. Haha)…I am officially closing Stôk’s Toronto retail space. . This was a very emotional and hard decision to make, but I know is the right one for my future and the next chapter of my life. I am moving out of Toronto and although really looking forward to the exciting things coming next, I am also so sad to say goodbye to my very first flower baby. . I can’t thank everyone enough for the amount of support and love we have been shown over the years. It really means a lot to me. So, thank you, each and every one of you that helped make my big dream become a reality. . And with all big leaps I have taken in my life, I make the decision and take the dive quickly. Sooo, we will be officially closing our doors on Oct 12th. We still have some inventory to get rid of so are offering 50-75% off all products except fresh flowers. The clouds got darker and darker, the winds faster and stronger. We waited until the last possible second to decide if the ceremony would be inside or outside. @events_by_sarah_megan asked Alyssa what she wanted to do. She couldn’t make up her mind so Joel stepped in and said “Would you like me to take control of this decision babe?” Alyssa said “yes”, and he said “outside”. These lil’ buds are from a small wedding a couple weeks ago. Sadly, this bride and groom were one of the poor couples that were supposed to be married at La Maquette, only to find out days before their wedding that the venue was now bankrupt and permanently closed. . Luckily, @hothouserestaurant was able to accommodate their last minute reservation and they went in the night before with family and friends to decorate the space. Then, on the day of, we came in and added these fabulous blooms with all the amazing colours Katie chose for her special day. . Katie, dropping your bouquet off that morning you were in such great spirits. Smiling ear to ear. Absolutely glowing with happiness and looking stunning. Neither of you let such a horribly disappointing situation ruin the love you wanted to celebrate that day. And for me, that just shows the the partnership the two of you have and the fact that you can conquer anything together.
