24 hours in Mumbai with local member and video producer @aaliya.amrin “It’s been seven years since I made the move to Bombay. It is one of many places I call home - it’s where I pay rent and where my cat, Donaldo, resides, and I’m just a 10 minute rickshaw ride from Soho House Mumbai. Bombay is a feeling. Ask anyone who’s had the pleasure of crossing paths with the city and they’ll say the same. Its quirks can either drive you mad or make you fall in love - or bit of both. If you’re heading to Mumbai - these are places I love: 1. @britannia_co for their Berry Pulao: Cash only, this restaurant is 100 years old, and food never disappoints. Best for lunch! 2. @thelovefools for a cozy private dinner. Hole in the wall, hard to find - but worth it. Ask the chef to use their discretion and let her go wild with the ordering. 3. Soho House Mumbai: To this day, it is my favourite place to celebrate big and little moments. My cofounders and I would spend entire days there that would flow into dinner and drinks. Whenever I go to the House, it’s familiar 4. @thetanjoretiffinroom for authentic, South Indian, comfort food. Make sure to order the coconut rice, madras railway curry, gunpowder idlis, and don’t forget to ask for the thali taster at the start of your meal!”
