All in a day’s work

The kids have been on break for the past weeks and we’re so grateful to be able to spend some family time, and with our extended family, too! Happy 15th to this amazing kid that made us parents! We are often asked how hard it’s been like having a teen & the truth is, I quite enjoy having this version of you. I miss the girly-girl bibo kid you were, but I also love what you have become - this person I can share not just my wardrobe with, but the most meaningful daily conversations, too. Thank you for confiding in me and allowing me to confide in you. You have taught us so much over the years and I’m so grateful you continually include us in your life hehe. On the way to the theater, I was telling the kids that we could only dream of being able to watch musicals like this when we were their age. Back then, you’d have to fly somewhere or wait years before the big shows made it to the Philippines. Can’t believe that now, we have a multi-awarded show like HAMILTON making it’s debut in Asia at The Theatre at Solaire and we got to see it!!! What a dream come true! 😭❤️ Aaaaaaand OMG THIS CAST - the level of talent performing @lin_manuel’s genius music & writing on that stage completely blew us away! 😱 Thank you, @gmg.productions for making this happen for all of us! @sksewell & team - you guys are amaziiiiing!!! The past couple of weeks have been tough physically. Yesterday, I woke up feeling a bit more “normal” & went out to find this beauty. I got this Pink Princess in January as one of @jorem ‘s birthday gifts. During a bad storm, the pot it was in fell causing the stem break in a weird way. I was forced to cut it up & propagate the parts I could still save. It survived but has stopped growing pink leaves since then. Inisip ko, baka nagtampo na sya. I was just ready to accept that it is what it is and at least it was still alive. But seeing this leaf yesterday felt like a beautiful gift - and it came with a message I so badly needed, exactly when I needed it. Thank you, Lord. You always know how to get to me ❤️ #inHistime
