A little message to all you beautiful people. ____________ I haven’t always been confident with my own body. I used to be very insecure of how my body was shaped, how I look and I’ve always compared myself to others. I used to not eat, overexercise, and so much more. I had no relationship with food whatsover and I was unhappy. I may not know it then, but that did not make me happy, or give me the confidence I needed. Now, I have a healthy relationship with food, and I exercise for myself. I eat what I want (believe me, I love FOOD), I don’t exercise when I don’t want to and I listen to my body more. I got my confidence back and am now happy, with myself and with my body. It’s easier being said than done, but believe me, it took me a while to realise that gaining that confidence and being happy starts from yourself (I, myself, am still struggling to, and would try to remember to always be kind to myself, for myself). Only you can make yourself happy. So, to all bodyshamers out there, the shame is on you. You, yourself are insecure, making yourself feel better by bringing others down. And to all of you out there struggling with what I struggled with in the past, YOU are the WARRIOR. I am with you throughout your journey and we are all in this together. ❤️
