Almost 3 years ago my life took a very unexpected turn. My husband and I found ourselves having to start over with a baby on the way. God was leading me in a different direction and I was SCARED but when He said jump I just said HOW FREAKING HIGH. There were months of turmoil and to be frank, months of freaking out about our finances. But through it all I just kept saying to Him...I surrender. I surrender. Here we are 2 years later and because of that trust and that faith, our lives are completely different. We went from not knowing how we could possibly pay our bills, or if we’d lose our house, not to mention provide for a baby to creating the kind of abundance that lasts a life time. I am so freaking humbled by this. If God is leading you in a different direction don’t be fearful. Surrender to it. The relationship on the other side of that trust is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. There will never be a day in my life that I don’t first thank Him, and then just ask... How high can I jump for you today Lord? And now… He is moving AGAIN. He is saying BE BOLD with what you have. This weekend will change everything. If you have been feeling in your gut like there is something MORE out there for you. And God is slapping you in the face saying OPEN YOUR EYES. NOW is the time. It’s funny when someone says you’ve changed. That phrase has always been funny to me. You should be wanting to change. If you are the exact same person you were 10 years ago, that means you have had no growth at all. You should always be pursuing a better you for yourself and your loved ones. The last two years I have changed more than ever before but I can feel the growth in me every single day. I’m becoming more positive every day. I have more drive. I value being present with my son but then hustling when he’s sleeping. I value getting you and going to church even when I’m tired and having strong boundaries of what I will not accept or deal with. I am a work in progress but each day I am trying to get closer to God and be a good example for my family. If they say you’ve changed, take it as a compliment, because they are clearly not growing. So I don’t know how you are but when I sleep I need it to be dark!!! And Aiden definitely does! We renovated an older home that had HUGE windows and knew we needed a solution. On Saturday my dad and I took Aiden to @liveoakcanyon pumpkin patch! It’s become a tradition now to go every year and this year did not disappoint!
