浪漫的旗津 | 🇹🇼 Qijin Island feels like home; a place set right on the beachfront, overseeing the spectacular view of the ocean and Cihou mountain nearby. The December weather was mild (21°C) and I had a great time exploring the beautiful Seashell Museum - it was my first time seeing such a huge seashell in glistening gold shade!  Beautiful cafes are everywhere around the island, and I stumbled upon this lovely campsite-themed beach bar - Estrella Del Mar - which gave a good chillax vibe. The day trip in Qijin Island ended with a lot of sun soaking moments, amidst the sound of crashing waves. Qijin Island is very accessible, only a 5 minutes ferry ride from Kaohsiung harbour. Definitely my kind of happy place in Kaohsiung. Must visit if you plan to head to the southern part of Taiwan!
