Not really making much of my own work at the moment, busy supporting/encouraging/assisting others to make work through my uni teaching work and PhD. So let’s look at some lovely work by others such as the fabulous @mollygumboot and Phil Sulidae @clarence_artsevents splendid exhibitions. I loved walking into Molly’s world with the RAGE song playing as I stepped through the door. And Phil’s incredible vision and construction. Two very different shows well worth a visit. ❤️🖤❤️🖤

To celebrate the change in the landscape of Australian politics, I’ve been in the garden converting sh*t into something productive. A metaphor for the way forward really. Although I would probably be gardening if I were commiserating as well. Whooo-ducking-whoooo!

First day back in the studio for a while. Post COVID/holiday/work and post exhibition exhaustion. Playing with colour and scraps is good fun.

Ideas don’t fall from the sky. You have to push them, pull them, write them, draw them, rethink them. And have breaks painting with a small human if you can. And draw with your non dominate hand.
