Just some adults sick of doing “adulthings” so they then decided to play some classic street games. Man, how I wish we still have the same amount of energy we all used to have when running and tagging our playmates back then. I mean, we didn’t even last for an hour. Nice try though 😂

We’re all a little messed up, aren’t we?

Aging had gotten me in doubt of birthday wishes. It’s been a while since i had one, but in these trying times, i can’t help but long for a better now. More than half a year of living in fear and devastation. While we’re armored behind the walls of our homes, a lot has gone bare — those we used to not see, and those we refused to see. While we scroll through our feeds, many others cry out for help; they ask for food, shelter, financial assistance, even justice, not to mention the painful tragedies happening beyond our borders. I actually lost count how many times i shed tears seeing viral videos of our medical frontliners battling against the covid war, jeepney drivers begging to return to their operations, and thousands of Filipino people dying. Turning a blind eye into these heartbreaking circumstances cannot be an option, especially when we are privileged enough to social distance without having to worry on how are we going to feed ourselves and our families in the next 24 hours. I, too, know that I am privileged enough to spend my day with my family, and us being full, safe & healthy. Not everyone could afford the comfort that we enjoy in our homes amid this pandemic, so better give the warmest sympathy you can to those in need. Hbd to me! ✨ Thank you for the thoughtful greetings.
