As I grew older I was no longer her little girl who'd hold her hands and ask questions about the world with wondering eyes. I had formed my own view about the world and perception of how everything works. Eventually my ways became so contradicting it would break any parent's heart. I became a cinematographer, also an influencer. Id work behind the camera at times i am the face infront of it. Although I studied engineering, I expressed myself in my unique style rather than conforming to my mothers traditional and religious values. Initially she was against everything that i supported, and would alwyas force her conservative beliefs into me. Years passed by, and i could see her love for me constantly battling against her viewpoints, and love won. Her love for me is so much that it forced her to accept me for who I am and eventually taking pride in it. When for the very first time I was featured in a renowned magazine, i saw her sharing the news to everyone saying "thats my daughter". I could hear the swelling in her heart everytime she would talk about my success. My mother Nilufer, her pride for me is a testament to a mother's love and support.
