Okay. Under ANY other circumstance I would NEVER, EVER, share this. Which is weird because in the past I’ve shared too much. You all have been complimenting me on my weight gain not understanding that I’ve learned how to hide it. High waisted pants. Baggy tops. Compression garments. But this is my reality at the moment. Imagine going from a 00 for 35yrs to a 38 by your 36th bday. It’s no secret that 2022 was a rough year for me. Physically. Emotionally. Mentally & Spiritually. I’ve been extremely depressed. And I couldn’t shed the weight. Diastasis Recti affects a lot of women. And even men. A lot of surgeons will insist on a tummy tuck. Luckily for me my muscles are pretty tight and compact and my skin has great elasticity which made me good candidate for @renuvion I spent A LOT of time. I’ve had over 22 consultations and I made sure that when I went under the knife I wouldn’t feel pressured to have any extra procedures that might not have actually been necessary. On top of that. Being a single mom and entrepreneur I can’t be down for too long. Thank you so much to the amazing team of doctors. @drbrianshafa & Dr. J over at @prm_westhills for not only taking my case. But working in tandem with one another & @renuvion & with me to not only restore my body & my confidence. But my mental health as well. Making sure that my mental health diagnosis (situational depression & social anxiety), & my insistence to stay on my antidepressants & my Rx sleeping aid; were all taken into consideration throughout the process of making sure I was not only a fit for the surgery that I wanted. But that @renuvion would work for me in such a way that I can avoid a tummy tuck. And that I’d be able to achieve a realistic. Non vixen. Natural result! I’m beyond grateful. You were so excited that you went home to shower and came back to the hospital and you didn’t want to wait for the elevator, so you took the stairs and broke your ankle or foot (I can’t remember), but you ended up being wheeled down to the ER & you came back with a boot on your foot 😂 happy birthday to my dawg.
