Whoever or whatever you lose due to speaking the truth, was never worth keeping. ⏳

Nowadays, my mindset is “hide everything from everyone”. “Evil eye is so real. The Prophet (pbuh) described it as worse than black magic as it could kill a person. Don't share pictures of your successes such as graduation day, weddings, your spouse, food, selfies, the places you traveled to or anything else. As many people can't digest it and become extremely jealous of you. Live a private life and do you. Nobody needs to know your business. Their jealousy could lead you to depression or even losing all that you have. Be humble and keep it to yourself. We live in an age where everything needs to be shared via social media otherwise it cannot be experienced to the fullest. We are overusing social media, little do we know it is just a shaytan's trap. Live your life for you, not for the attention that could end it.” Dua for protection against evil eye: ‎أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ “I seek refuge in Allah’s most perfect words from every devil, harmful thing, and evil eye. (a`udhu bi kalimatillahi al-tammati min kulli shaytaanin wa hammatin wa min kulli `aynin lammah)”

“This is the Dua Musa (Moses) made after journeying into the middle of nowhere to escape from Firaun. Tired, hungry and extremely impoverished, Musa raised his hands to Allah in desperate need of help, saying: ‎رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ "My Lord, I am truly in great need of any good that you might send down to me" (Quran 28.24) Immediately after making this Dua, Allah blessed Musa not only with enough provision to live for the next 10 years, but also a wife to begin his family. This is an extremely powerful Dua that covers all the good we need from Allah, even when we aren't exactly sure what is best for us.” ❤️

This may just be our last ever Ramadan. Don’t take it for granted and don’t waste this blessing that Allah (swt) has bestowed upon us. ❤️
