@toyotausa #partner Last week was rough after Raven’s surgery. He couldn’t stay standing on his own. He’s got a lot of spirit, and this was the lowest I’ve seen him. It was scary seeing him like that. We barely moved ten feet from his bed in the living room. Over the weekend, I walked him out to the car and took him for a ride. It gave him life. We kept doing it. On each walk out to the driveway, he would stand more on his own instead of leaning on me. He loves the car. It was the first thing he knew of our life together. It’s turned out to be the place where he gets his powers. He’s walking more now and clearly on the up and up. I love him so much and the uphill road we’ve traveled together. Thanks for showing love to the brands that support us along our way. ❤️‍🔥

You know that line, “rage, rage against the dying of the light”? You live that. You were an injured inmate ready to take no shit, limping and barking at me on the other side of a chain link fence. All bones and fur, you seemed a few years older than you do now. If it was as bad as it looked, we could handle your hospice, so I brought you home. But you got stronger. Started squeaking toys. Started licking my face. And never needed a leash because you never left Loki’s tail. Now here we are, 17 months later. Staring at you again through a chain link fence, with different tears in my eyes. Because we are family now. You lifted my life and became a brother to a little brother. Now I’m waiting for you to wake up. You tore your ACL on our nightly walk, and I know you’re not done chasing Loki. So we’re fixing it the best way we know how. I’m just glad it wasn’t a neurological issue in your hind legs like we first thought. You’ve had such a long road. I wish life would give you a break, but it just keeps coming. So we rage on– I mean, rave on.
