At the end of 2021 I didn’t train for 3 months straight due to work commitments. We had just rebranded our app to STRNG and it was very important to us to put that first, it was 16 hour days and so training took a back seat. Jan 2022 my goal was to get into the best shape of my life and feel strong again, because I felt very weak and vulnerable. And in 4 months I bloody well did it!! I was soooooo motivated and trained my ass off and I was so happy with what I achieved. I did the push/pull/legs plan from my @strngofficial_ fitness app and added an additional leg day in training 4 x per week. Cardio was 30-45 mins every morning, 7 days per week and we also went for the occasional long walk in the evening. Cardio for me in the morning sets me up for the day so it’s something I have enjoyed doing for many years, but also because I work from home it’s a great way to get my steps in. Alongside this I was in a calorie deficit and I was very disciplined with every aspect to achieve these results. I find the body so fascinating with what it can do if you really put your mind to it and push yourself!
