🤢Graphic Warning!🤯 Insecurities highlighted. Growing up I had birthmarks on my belly, in fact I have many many birthmarks all over but these stood out to me the most. Once I got into modeling and showing my abs more and more as part of the fitness brand people started to troll online and make fun of them. Some photographers would edit them out, others just a few and some would leave them be. It didn’t really bother me all that much until I found out some of the cells came back abnormal & pre-cancerous. I had to have them all removed plus one large one on my lower back. Unfortunately for me the first time it was done left me with really really bad scars that only highlighted my imperfections. The scars were ugly, raised and for almost 2 years I had to deal with them on the daily. Every so often someone would comment about them, ask about them, accuse me of editing them out in photos but not videos or just be mean. This only made me further insecure about them. Finally about 3 years ago I had the scars cut out yet again with a better technique and they healed much better. However, to this day I still have scars. There is nothing I can do about it other than accept my imperfections. I’ve learned to live and love my flaws for what they are… just flaws like anyone else’s. I wanted to share this with you so you know that NONE of us are perfect in our own eyes. We all have our own flaws. We all struggle with something, many things. I want you to know that self love and acceptance are the only way to happiness because unfortunately there will always be an Ahole out there saying this or that about any one of us. Don’t let them get to you! Empower one another, uplift, motivate and protect.
