I finally got my hands on the brand new Canon RF 135mm. It's such a major improvement over the EF 135mm f2 lens that came out in 1998! Shooting wide open at F1.8 is absolutely cheating, plus it is now weather sealed and it has image stabilization. The bokeh from this lens when shooting full cars is unbelievable and it's tack sharp. In this clip I'm covering the lens with paper tape first, then I'm following up with Gaff tape for as much protection from the elements as possible. I hope you guys enjoy these camera nerd videos. As you guys have seen in the last few days I've been overwhelmed with the incredible builds at @gtr.festival here in Sydney Australia. I awarded the trophy for my pick of the show to this Datsun 1200 Ute built by @mrheli1200. Frank is a very humble pizza man with a passion for racing. When it was time to build the ultimate street Ute he sourced a wrecked VR38 GTR engine and shoe-horned it into the Datsun. It now makes a conservative 650whp. We drove all around Sydney for five hours, so I don't want to hear anything from you guys about it not being a street car! I did a extremely detailed one hour dive into this racecar.
