✏️🐈‍⬛ Here’s a look at some of the design work that went into creating my signature edition of Catwoman, the first in the line of my DC Cover Girls from @dcdirect & @mcfarlane_toys_official I was going for the slinkiness classic Michelle Pfeiffer with some of the cowl cut lines of the Bruce Timm version. There’s also a deep purple added that’s been present on n’off in the costume since the 1940s. I also wanted the suit texture of 1960s TV show along with the ankle go-go style boots of that same era. And lastly I wanted the uninterrupted clingy full body suit of the Darwyn Cooke design. Anyways, I hope my amalgam is something many of you find appealing and hopefully still very iconic. Here are some more detailed turn-around draw-overs I did to get the face more defined to my style for Diana. ✏️🌟 Here’s a peek behind the scenes of some of my concept design sketches for the upcoming Wonder Woman™ 1:8th scale resin statue. This is the second of my series of DC Cover Girls, each showcasing my unique interpretations of the women of the @dcofficial universe. I wanted my Diana to be more of a return to the classic more vibrant coloring and look of the Linda Carter era of my youth, focused more on the lasso and bracelets and less on the giant boots n’ knee pads and sword n’ shield, although I did leave a hint of the Gadot era gladiator skirt.
