On June 25, 1970, Hendrix revisited Electric Lady Studios where he completed work on "Astro Man." He later focused attention on the promising new song "Valleys Of Neptune" plus another new song "Drifting." This elegant ballad featured Hendrix playing through a Leslie organ speaker while singing live vocals.
