We started this project this week and we’d love to hear your thoughts on it so far! Here’s what we’ve used: WOOD: Black Tupelo FORM: 42” Round No Seal Mold EPOXY: @ecopoxy FlowCast PIGMENT: @beaverdustpigments Caribbean Stay tuned as we finish this table next week. #customBuilt #HandMade #Maker #WoodWorking #InteriorDesign
We competed this table for a Sales Center in Kitchener for @esqape_design and @heathwood_homes and it’s a beast. The top is 108” long by 60” wide and it is 2.25” thick! This table will be used to display the overhead map of the community they are building to show all the streets and lot locations. It’s bar height so it will be great to stand around and pick out the exact lot you want. #Kitchener #CustomTable #HandMade #Wood #Ontario
@empiregoodsco Table leg templates + Universal Mounting Plates for the win! We have been using this style of mounting plate for years but each time we would have a custom set made to match the legs we were using. Finally it clicked and we decided to make a universal plate that will work for many different leg designs. We’ve even done large dining tables by using multiple plates to attach each leg. If you build furniture and like to use wooden legs, these are a must have! #WoodWorking #Furniture
In our latest YouTube video, we build a @northdogbuilds inspired dining table and it was more challenging than we thought it would be! The double scribe takes some more planning than I thought it would! Would love to get your feedback on our latest YouTube video.
I know you don’t follow us for Bison and Moose but that is just a part of this weeks YouTube video! We recently had the opportunity to hand deliver a 14’ table to Kentucky and we documented the build and delivery process of the one of a kind table! It’s up on our YouTube now! 👀 🏃♂️ 💨 #Kentucky #Moose
When I first started making tables, I would go out and source slabs for the project which was stressful because sometimes the perfect slab just wasn’t readily available. Plus, it was a huge time waster to be driving all over the place looking for a couple of slabs for just one project. Now we always have slabs in our inventory so we can source a slab quickly and efficiently and offer our customers a few options.
Why would we attach the nets with magnets?!? Please Read. We built this Ping Ping table for an @nhl player and we chose to design the net so it could be attached using only magnets. The idea behind using magnets to attach the net came during the build process when we were playing ping pong on the conversion kit we used and the net was attached using a clamp system… the clamp system was very weak and each time you nudged the net walking by, it would fall off and you would have to reclamp it on. It was a real pain in the you know what. That’s when we decided to use 3 strong, rare earth magnets to attach the nets. The magnets along with the steel plate made for quick attachment and it was way stronger than clamps that came with the kit. We could have just bolted the nets on but this seamed a little more user friendly and it made the system fool proof. We can’t wait to build another one of these units! #PingPong #WhiteOak #Maker #WoodWorking #PingPongTable

Love seeing the planning that goes into creating components for chairs! This steam bending setup from @boggsbench is incredible! Would love to have seen this jig come to life during the design process! We’ve been working on some chair templates and as we get further and further into the world of chairs, my appreciate for them keeps increasing day by day! #WoodWorking #Wood #SteamBending #Maker #Design #ChairDesign
The process! Each step along the way needs to be planned and thought out to make sure the following step goes smoothly. It’s always important in woodworking to plan 2-3 steps ahead. Love the final step of getting the @rubiomonocoatusa Pure applied! It just makes the table pop!
