When the sun reshapes the city.
Oak alley looks like heaven on earth, but for the slaves who used to live here it was definitely hell. Definitely worth a visit.
Just a quick revisit. But this place really has a lot of potential. #copenhagenheat
Sorry for my absence, but sometimes I just need to forget everything about social media, especially IG and wrap my mind around something else.
Have we just checked in at the black lodge?
San Antonio is by far my most favorite city in Texas. Closely followed by Austin. But SA just has that little extra something. One thing is the riverwalk, witch shows city playing at its best. Another is the people. I was walking along the river and I saw two cops talking and laughing with two homeless guys. That’s the only time on our US trip I have seen homeless people not being ignored like society’s outcasts. I know that the rest of Texas isn’t cold and superficial, and what I have and have not seen on one stroll isn’t the facts of life. But my overall experience of San Antonio and it’s people just was different in a very positive way.
Where’s Wally? No, he is not wearing a red and white shirt.
I believe that 2018 is the year that I personally have experienced the most extreme weather conditions. The extra long and warm summer we just had in Denmark and the rest of Europe is one thing. While getting ready to swap the Texas heat with the Louisiana heat, it’s almost impossible to recall the insane winter we just had earlier in the year.
