385 for a double and 420 for a single on trap bar deadlift. 💪🏽😀📈 On May 17th, I told myself that I would get 4 plates off the ground one day and I did it way sooner than I anticipated. I'm happy with my progress but I'm still gonna continue to focus on the long game and do solid reps for most of my sessions instead of getting caught up in chasing numbers. Not to say don't ever test your limits tho. 😉 Using the trap bar for deadlifts in particular has a myriad of benefits, such as reduced lower back pain, being able to target the quads while still doing a hip hinge movement, and having a shallower learning curve than a conventional deadlift. Not to mention the versatility aspect - you can also do farmer's walks or shoulder shrugs with a trap bar. It's summer season the work doesn't stop!!!
