As the Russia/Ukraine war escalates, our dear friend and godfather to my son Secretary @delfinlorenzana tells us that the Philippines will remain neutral. Not only do I agree with the prudence of our National Defense Minister, I think this is our only move.

If you're a new parent like me, apart from the standard stuff, make sure to add these three things to your child's curriculum: (1) any martial art, preferably jiu-jitsu, (2) coding, (3) Mandarin. The world is changing. While the West argues about its 72 new genders, defunding their police force, who should and shouldn't be able to kneel during their national anthem, and Justin Trudeau's comically tiny IQ, the powerhouses in the East are making real moves. China -- specifically -- isn't just a big player anymore. It's now the biggest player of all players in the history of humanity. It would be wise for us to make adjustments.

The sheer volume of this year's birthday greetings has been insane. From Malacañang Palace to my favorite Senators; from the outskirts of random provinces throughout the country to my London Fashion Week family; from the buddies who were with me from the very start sitting around with no money to well wishes from almost every camp running for the Presidency of the Philippines this year; from CEO's of multinational multi-billion-dollar companies to the maids, drivers and nannies from my childhood who I've never forgotten; from former foes to lifelong friends; from rock-solid allies to beautiful people on the other side of the political aisle who've been decent enough to show respect; from the military to the medical community; from the media moguls to my colleagues in tech; from sitting Cabinet Secretaries to the young future leaders of our country... ...and, most importantly, the happiest, most moving greetings from my friends and family. I had almost 8,000 greetings last year. This year, we're at well over 22,000 across all social media and direct messaging platforms -- an absurd number. I really, really, really feel the love. And to the wonderful, awesome, fully engaged strangers who I've never met in my life, yet who reached out with inspired messages simply because something I once said or wrote landed/mattered, I appreciate you guys, too. A bit weird that so many of you have my phone number but I love you guys all the same. 😄 A lot of you know about my dad's upcoming surgery and the tragic passing of my father-in-law, but in spite of everything, you all made this week truly special for me in many regards. And for that I want to say thank you. Pasensya na po if i can't reply to everyone as I'll be spending the next several days comforting my girlfriend, but know that I see and hear and feel every word of love and support. From the bottom of my bursting heart, salamat. 🙏

One of the best and wisest posts of this election cycle comes from my buddy @mikeacebedolopez.

The article itself from our friends at ABS-CBN is very fair but the headline, although accurate, is mildly misleading. Our data has 86% of all Sara supporters voting for BBM and 70% of all BBM supporters voting for Sara, which is more than enough for both candidacies. *What's pleasantly surprising about this article is that my dear friend @sengracepoe topped the survey of the strongest endorsement available to persuade the undecideds -- ahead of even PRRD (#2) and Sara (#3). Gems like this are why it's so fun getting new polling data everyday.

We knew this months ago. All the data companies we've hired locally and abroad came back with the same result: Leni's possible total number of votes has a very clear cap/ceiling/maximum, specifically because she's never been appealing to socioeconomic demographic D, which is 82% of the electorate. Not only does BBM's camp know this, Isko and Manny's camps have the same data too. That's why no one's worried.

▪︎ Non-political meeting with Senator Joel Villanueva's Chief of Staff (and my baby haha) at my condo. No current politics; kwentuhan lang about how they landed #2 in the 2016 elections by spending an absurd P70 million for the whole campaign. Talk about cost-efficient! ▪︎ Non-political meeting with the Chairwoman of PAGCOR herself, the biggest dog in the yard for all things gaming/gambling in the Philippines. No politics; all tech. ▪︎ Non-political meeting with Senatorial candidate General Guillermo Eleazar -- former PNP Chief and overall bad-ass. No politics; just a warm catch up after meeting for dinner at BBM's house four years ago. ▪︎ Non-political meeting with Congressman Arnie Teves, one of my favorite people and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. No politics; just watching the SMNI Presidential debates over dinner that my girlfriend prepared. Nice to have a day-off. Doing "normal" work in the middle of an election cycle is so refreshing and fun. 😄 #AngPambansangTagaLinis #TheNationalJanitor

Lunch with my cousin and good friend of two decades -- one of PAGCOR's youngest directors ever -- the always fun Jimmy Bondoc. Your savvy and smarts in this space are criminally underrated. May our brotherhood grow inversely proportional to our hairlines.
