Hi there- I’m Emily 👋🏼 You know the marketing saying “the riches are in the niches?” Well, I find it true in life & relationships too! The past few weeks dozens of folks hit unfollow and equally as many new faces popped up- so I wanted to say hello to the new friends -and the old who stuck by even if they don’t love what I have to say but are reasonable about free speech & differing opinions. Many of my closest friends believe differently than me on a slew of topics & yet, we still love each other. Amazing concept, isn’t it 😁 Meeting new, likeminded people has been a blessing too. I recently made new mom friends in my neighborhood after I name dropped Jesus on my babysitter job posting. I’m telling ya- the riches really are in the niches! Go get ‘em! I spent the past 2 decades working in the media, as a news reporter and then agency founder where I worked with fast-growth brands & nearly lost myself in the hustle to match their goals, achievements & revenues. I retired from all that striving a couple years ago and found my true purpose in being home, raising babies, and seeking all that is true, good & beautiful. It’s a simple, wonderful & humbling journey. I love working with other mom entrepreneurs to help them grow & market their businesses without sacrificing family, faith, or values. I believe creating freedom (in business & financially) so you can be authentic to who you are is more important than ever. I host a weekly-ish podcast @theamplifyshow featuring interviews with fascinating people & where I explore topics to amplify what matters. It’s really my place where I learn from others and share as much as I can along the way. It’s estimated 60,000+ lives have been saved since Roe vs Wade was overturned- and the fight is far from over! Publicly defending & celebrating life on this day a year ago, was such a small thing- Yet it was a big step for me because most people & companies I knew were sharing the opposite. Prepped a few things for Advent tomorrow! Living more with the rhythm of the liturgical calendar has been a game changer for growing in faith & creating family traditions that celebrate not just the passage of time but the life of Christ. I feel like I could spend a lifetime understanding the full calendar of feast days, holy days, saints & more, but instead, I just lean in a bit more where I feel pulled.
