Our green archer 🫶🏻🏹 Got better just in time for his first day of 1st grade. Woke up 5:15 am, out the door by 5:45, in La Salle by 6:10, classroom by 6:30 (while still eating his breakfast), made friends already (hi Apollo! @kimpalanca) and didnt shed a single tear. A bit of stress after as we rushed to Poveda for Ate’s 7:30am class but all in all, a good first day 💪 Your confidence amazes me, Noah! So proud of you! Talk less, learn more! Happy 2nd birthday to our dearest Nicco! My Batuti, my heart flutters every time you kiss and hug me. You make me feel like the world is calm and peaceful even in the midst of chaos. Seeing you grow each day and discover new things has been the high point of our family the past 2 years. You make us all so happy! Thank you for being the way you are - simple and satisfied with the little things (and enjoying all kinds of food!)! Doctors keep asking me how many times Noah has been hospitalized and I couldnt keep track. Being super premature, his first home on earth was really in the NICU. I remember 2020-2021 was the time we were clear from hospital stays bec we were never out but 2022 happened and he got Dengue in Baguio. Most hospitalizations are because of pneumonia. This time, pneumonia hit him hard combined with his asthma. The insane weather, his activities all may have contributed to this. Seeing him breathe is like the break you get from sprinting on the treadmill when youre gasping for air and breathing super fast. A normal kid breathes 20-30 times per minute, Noah was breathing 70 breaths per minute. And because of all the hospitalizations, you would think that he’d get used to it but it’s worse for him. In the ER, he kept crying and saying he wanted to go home. He’d try not to breathe when the doctors would come because he knew its his fast breathing that they came to count. Doctors even suggested to put him in the ICU as they needed to infuse magnesium sulfate to open up his lungs. We asked if it could just be done in the room because we know our son, and his mental state contributes to his health. Well, it’s been really 🫠🫠🫠 the past few days. I write this as Jacob and Noah are still asleep and I am left with my thoughts. But here are some factors that have kept us strong: a supportive spouse (ily @jacobbautista), the love of family (special thanks to mama @monnettersalapantan and Mama Flor), Doctors in the family (thank you @megsalapantan @annikaraymundo @jeffgalban), amaaaazing doctors (Dra. @angeltinga, Dr. John Capuno, Dra. Emily Resurreccion, Dra. Charito Corpuz) and A TON OF PRAYERS. The Lord has kept us strong through all this, calm and worry free. And to Noah, you are the strongest 6 year old I know. I am so proud to be your Mommy. I love you so much and no asthma is gonna stop us from living your best damn life. ♥️🫶🏻🙏🏻 #calebnoahbautista

Our days are NOT A JOKE. We have 3 kids, businesses to run, family gatherings, time with friends and much more 🫠🫠 On top of ALL THAT, we now have a new found love for working out 💪 Jacob does jiu jitsu now and I am obsessed with pilates! People ask us how we do it and where we get our energy. Secret’s out, we take @legardeph and it’s been a blessing in our lives! We function better and we dont get tired! Anyone who knows me well knows I fell in love with pilates decades ago but life happened and well, I kinda let myself go 🫠 3 kids, 2 jobs and family life has taken over me then @onelifestudio happened. Im most grateful to my BFF @lycapunoroa who pushed me to start exercising again. Giving myself an hour a day, just for myself to take care of my body. One life is a safe space for all women, where your needs are met, your pace is respected and where judgement is thrown out the window. Im so happy im back doing my favorite workout of all time (and I think Ive tried almost all) so I can take care of myself to take care of my family better. I look forward to coming to the Estancia branch which is super near me. Im so comfortable with all the coaches who have guided me get back into shape.
