It’s been an honor and a privilege to be on the frontlines of history these past two years. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a #murrow award with my name on it, let alone two, let alone back-to-back years. A Regional Murrow for #antiasianhate #stopasianhate coverage, a National Murrow for pandemic coverage, an Emmy for BLM. 🙏🙏🙏

And a million 🙏 to @jujuchangabc for this video introduction to present me with the Justice In Action Award at the @aaldef gala because duty called her away. I am truly truly lucky and grateful to have you as a friend.

Breathing this air is so dangerous experts say inhaling it for 24 hours is equivalent to smoking an entire pack of cigarettes. #wildfire #airquality

The race for city council district 1 which includes Chinatown, Lower East Side, Wall St / Financial District. Interesting takeaways from last night’s forum. Every candidate is opposed to congestion pricing (even though district 1 constituents wouldn’t be charged the fee since they already live within the zone), only the incumbent says Rikers Island should be closed (but he is opposed to the proposed jail in Chinatown), they all give Mayor Adams a C on his handling of the migrant crisis, every candidate except for the Republican says it’s time to move away from outdoor dining sheds. Thank you @apavoicenewyork for having me moderate. #aapiheritagemonth
