Finding Neverland 네버랜드를 찾아서. 🌷 암티플 두번째 전시에 여러분을 초대합니다! 암티플 프로젝트는 투병에 지친 암 환우 분들의 자신감을 회복하 고, 행복하고 특별한 경험을 선물하기 위해 기획된 메이크오버 프로젝트입니다. 2021년 8월부터 모든 스텝의 재능기부로 지속되고 있으며 지금까지 총 21명의 암 환우의 메이크오버를 시도하였습니다. 이번 전시에는 암 환우분들의 네버랜드를 표현한 메이크오버 사진 들이 아름다운 페이퍼 아트와 함께 전시됩니다. -전시기간: 6월1일~6월12일(오픈식 6월 1일 2시, 5시) -장소: 갤러리 치로 삼청 (다락정 옆건물, 견생냥품 애견용품 건물 지하1층) -주관/주최: 아미다해X스타일그래퍼 -협찬: 신나페이퍼아트 -주소: 종로구 삼청로 131 -후원: 오하 -페인팅 콜라보레이션 : 안젤리나 다닐로바 *주차공간이 협소하니 대중교통을 이용하시기 바랍니다. I am honored to be a part of an amazing project done by my dear friends together. Project is called Amtiful, and the second exhibition title is “Finding Neverland”. Amtiful. “Am”- 암 means cancer in korean “tiful”- part of a word beautiful. The project takes start from hearts and minds of people who have met and experienced cancer in their lives or lives of their loved ones. My dear friends Amida and Stylegrapher organized a series of personalized make overs with photo shoots curated in the most caring and professional manner. We’ve met all of our participants, interviewed and talked to them prior to the project. It was very special and emotional. Listening to experiences brought me few years back when we were taking care of our mom in the hospital, feeding and washing her like a baby, a person who was the strongest, most independent hardworking woman in everything that I knew, and how unpredictable life can be, yet her spirit was unshakable and it’s my biggest inspiration. Our main priority was for everyone to enjoy, to have fun, to help them feel themselves in a beautiful place as “Neverland” in Peter Pen. And we were lucky to be a part of this. Grateful to be collaborating on this project. I was working with acrylic on photo prints with a very special group of heroines. All three women are patients with breast cancer. Pink veil photographed in the movement and my extension in the expressive mannerism with acrylic paint resembles pink ribbon that symbolizes breast cancer awareness. Something I thought about while dancing to an amazing disco set at Hanriver last night, throwing my hands in the air and drawing spirals with them. Frequencies, sound vibrations, music need no language translation. All of us coming from different cultures, backgrounds, countries even worlds.🪲🪼🌿 We all groove. Music. Truly a universal language. Last week watched a documentary “John was trying to contact aliens”, a man in the 1960-70s rebuilt his whole house into the station with dozens or hundreds of antennas to play music into the outer space. Devotedly broadcasting everyday and night Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Harmonia and many more for someone out there to resonate. Because we all do. 많이 더워 덥지만 한국 여름이 시작이 되어서 기뻐요. I don’t know for how long I am here for and how long “this” is going to last, but I’m thankful for this. I’m thankful for you, who ever is in-front of me, experiencing this together. Seeing same things. Breathing same air. Receiving same light. Same energy from the sun.
