So this is love 🥹 Our sweet, strong, healthy, calm, perfect baby came into the world Wednesday 🤍 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers & messages the last week- I didn’t mean to go MIA & worry y’all, but I started early labor Sunday & wasn’t on my phone until Thursday. This week was the hardest, yet best week of my life. I can’t even explain the level of joy I’ve felt since the birth of our child. We have been soaking up every second of newborn goodness & our hearts are exploding with joy. The goodness of God has never more evident than from the moment this baby was in my arms. Its unexplainable. I’ll be back soon with the full reveal, but for now, hubby & I are keeping baby all to ourselves 🥲 #thankyouJesus

“The days are long, but the years are short.” 🥺 I blinked & 6 months has gone by… Having a newborn for the first time was challenging. It was a stretching season where I had to lean on the Lord more for strength, than I ever had. The journey of growing a baby for 41 weeks to breastfeeding & caring for a baby all day- I never knew an exhaustion or love like that. Other moms had told me time & time again how fleeting each season was. I have always reminded myself of this on the longer days. There were many moments I thought: I can’t do this. I just want to sleep for more than an hour straight 😪 Sure enough, God got me through every day & continues to refill my cup every morning. During the newborn phase I thought that 6 months felt SO far away. Now that it’s here, I’m in disbelief. If you’re in the thick of it, know that it DOES get better. You WILL get to rest again (well, at least a nap or two 🤪) Don’t ever wish away any moments, because before you can blink, they won’t fit curled in a ball on your chest. They won’t always need your comfort in the middle of the night. Every day, our son gets more & more fun. His laugh & smile light up my world. The HIGHEST calling of my life has been being his mother. He is my greatest gift from Heaven & I cover him in prayer daily. Remember: to have a healthy baby to rock to sleep, in a warm home, is a blessing. Soak up every moment, even the hard ones.

Babies are the only people that it’s “acceptable” to withhold love from. I’ve been told many times: “Don’t hold your baby too much because they’ll get used to it! Don’t pick them up every time they cry or they will think you will always be there. You’re going to spoil your baby!” 😒🙄 Respectfully, I want my baby to TRUST that I will always be there. Loving your baby isn’t spoiling them. You can’t love them too much. —- It’s crazy to think society tries to tell us that babies can manipulate you….we are talking about a BABY here. When they cry or fuss to be held, they are communicating their NEED for your comfort. It’s a whole new world they’re trying to discover. —- Remember, you’re building a foundation for a lifelong love. You are teaching them that they can always depend on you by responsive parenting. You wouldn’t tell your spouse to get over it or cry it out if they were upset & needed your love. You should never feel shamed into comforting your baby “less,” when your instinct is telling you to pick up or soothe your baby. —- One day, they won’t need to be held all the time, and you’ll miss the days they did. Being a parent is a sacrificial love. It is the highest calling to be trusted with raising the next generation.

This is your sign to study YHWH Word like your life depends on it, because you can’t discern end times without knowing end time prophecy 🙏🏽 I am ready for our Messiah & take comfort in the truth that Yeshua has already won 🙌🏽 Something I pray daily is that my family and I are NOT deceived. Matthew 24:24 says: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Even the elect may be deceived by the GREAT deception- that is HEAVY! We are currently in a war of information & in an age of deception. One of the biggest false prophets is the media, who continues to drive the narrative & emotions of the masses. Don’t rush to judge things based on your heart/emotions, because it is deceitful above all things (Jeremiah 18:9). Our emotions are used against us in spiritual warfare & anything can be manipulated. This is why studying Gods Word & praying will be your biggest advantage. Getting your discernment from the Holy Spirit, instead of the news. Satan is going to use prophecy against all of us in an attempt to deceive us & sadly he knows it better than most believers. Let this be your reminder to get into your Bible 🙌🏽 Scripture says to test every spirit & that we will know them by their fruits. What are the fruits of the world right now? Fear and Confusion. YHWH Word is covered in Do NOT Fear. HE is our hope, refuge, protector, peace, & provider. Greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world! “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” - Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭13‬ ‭ —— Books I’m focusing on next few seasons: Isaiah, Matthew, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Romans, & Revelation. 5 Months of loving Adriel 😭 Being his mom has been the biggest blessing of my life. It has been a season of stretching & purpose. Sound on for the videos 🥲 —- Updates 🩵 • Still in his grabbing stage & doesn’t realize how strong he is • He loves his pups & they always make him belly laugh 🤣🐶🐻‍❄️ • Loves staring at his hands, grabbing his feet, trying to put syllables together, & squealing loud with excitement. Wondering if it’s his Brazilian side 🤔😆 • In his Nursing Gymnastics stage & is often distracted during the day when it’s time to nurse. • Can roll over now & loves tummy time. He figured out he can rest on his arms when he’s tired. • Still loves the baby carrier for naps or to see what I’m doing & doesn’t realize he is 20 lbs 💪🏽😮‍💨 • He is *almost* sitting up on his own • Graduated to the big boy stroller seat & LOVES going for walks in it 🍃 • Is SO interested in food & moves his mouth when we eat (See Post 9) 🤪 • Is the sweetest, most happy boy in the whole world. His smile lights up my world 🥹

Respectfully, Yes. 😅 Guess his weight in the comments 🤭He’s almost 5 months & I think he’s going to be taller than his dad one day 🫠 —— In the beginning, I remember so many people saying things like: “Are you sure he’s eating enough??! Just top him off with formula!” 😪 It was so disheartening as a first time mom who wanted to exclusively breastfeed, but if you’re a parent, you know you get a lot of unsolicited advice. I took it with a grain of salt & kept going. Every baby is different & some are more lean than others. Adriel was pretty lean & tall until 2 months! Next thing I knew, he started getting the little baby rolls. They’re so cute 🥹 I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s biologically normal for your breastfed baby to wake up every 2-3 hours at night. Breastmilk nutrients are almost always used up & they may want to nurse more or just want your comfort. Moms are the original pacifier. You don’t *need* to top them off with anything, because it’s perfectly normal for them to wake often as a baby. Night nursing is good for your supply so remember: it’s only a season! Also, your baby can pull more milk than any pump can, so it’s not an accurate depiction of your milk supply. Truly, I don’t think there is enough support to help set women up for success to breastfeed. It makes me SO sad because I know many want to, but didn’t have the help they needed or had obstacles they couldn’t overcome. So if you know a breastfeeding mom, let’s send her encouragement, instead of suggesting she quit or top her baby off with formula because things get hard. I’m SO glad that I didn’t give up when challenges arose. Breastfeeding was my one goal postpartum & it’s been the most beautiful bond. Many parts came naturally & it’s been a willing sacrifice to exclusively breastfeed. I love it so much 😭 I’ve become so passionate about sharing what I’ve learned the last 4 months. Breastfeeding is like a dance: you & your baby learn together over time. I pray every day that I’ll be able to nurse him for a long time 🥲🙏🏽

Bring your baby to work day, except he goes everywhere with me 😆 It’s going to be a BIG week for @elevatebeauty ‼️ Adriel is on brand in olive outfit as we spend the day at the warehouse preparing for our new beauty launch coming this week. Sneak peek on the last slide 👀🥳 —— Let’s chat motherhood & careers: I’ve been told many times: “Your life is over when you have a child,” and it truly breaks my heart now that baby boy is here, because he’s the best part of every day. He loves coming along & exploring/doing new things. Your baby doesn’t know anything except YOU, so don’t be afraid to bring them along to do things you enjoy. As far as work goes- Have I been forced to slow down, especially in the newborn days? Absolutely! But God knows you need rest & to focus on your little one. It’s a season that flies by. As someone who has always focused on my career, I’ve realized: work will come and go, but your baby is only this small once. You get one first smile. One first laugh. One first time walking. Your child is not a distraction from work, but everything else is a distraction from them! Children are the MOST important work. If you have the choice/option, remember that a career can wait. Spend as much time with your children as you can 🫶🏽 Don’t listen to people who try & tell you that your life stops when you have a baby. It’s been the most transformational season & motherhood is the best thing I’ve ever experienced.
