Let’s talk pre workout You don’t need to take pre workout but it can help in some ways. It is normally based around caffeine, creatine, bcaa’s and other stimulants to help you feel energised before a workout! It does have its benefits when you are feeling depleted, low on energy or just genuinely not feeling a workout. I personally use it myself but only every so often when I don’t feel up to a session or I feel low on energy! There are different types of pre workout, you can take it in powder form which you mix with water, you can take it in tablet form! But you can have something simple like a black coffee, a sugar free energy drink or even some high carb foods for example popcorn, that will help to make you feel stimulated or energised but it doesn’t always mean it’s very healthy for us! The healthiest thing to do is be taking in plenty of water and hitting your carb intake for the day and maybe have some kind of sugar free caffeinated drink if needed!
