1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Well, i am suman airish barik, studying fashion management from kolkata . been working with the fashion houses as androgyny model. people always appreciate me for doing something or the other with my clothes ! so i have just thought of getting into blogging so that i can influence more people to go crazy with their wardrobe .

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I do not like something which is random to others and can be seen anywhere ! so i try to blend things in my way so that it creates an unisex look and gives you fancy ideas .

Mostly, i post life style and fashion related posts .

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Its just my name ! because i want people to talk about me and the stuff that i upload its me who is doing all the hard work so its better i keep it simple so its just my name. ‘ suman airish barik’ ID : airish.barik

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

i use air brush to hide dark spots or maybe just to give a flawless skin . else its only the instagram filters that keeps my posts look amazing !

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

i dont really follow much bloggers ! mostly the designers and i love alexander mc queen’s page! so that particular page is really inspiring !

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They need to be real. i understand whatever we post as bloggers sometimes it is just that we talk about the trend. but we individuals are different so we need to create that look such a way that nobody seen it before !

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

umm….i feel happy about my post that i love to experiment and they are controversial at times. but its me what you see ! i love being different. even if somebody want to unfollow me they cant because i am that confident about my posts !

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands should invite bloggers sucha way so that one should not feel left out. because there are food,image,fashion.carrier,lifestyle bloggers ! and all the jobs are different. so i a food blogger is invited to a fashion events doesnt really make sense !
My authenticity is what i feel inside that you get to see in all the posts .

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

i see many people type quotes instead of an original content about that particular picture! either you number wise post else just talk about what that picture stands for . it makes the work easier .

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

i get to discover new clothes but its not always new clothes that brands are sending me. i try to break the whole thing by styling it in a different way . so when people already know how it looks like ,when i do it in my way they get to see something different.and thats my job.
