Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Stephanie @stephaniewstyle

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a former visual arts teacher from Ottawa who now works as a travel and lifestyle blogger.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

On Instagram, I try to share travel moments or beautiful projects I’m working on.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted just my name, Stephanie White but it was taken so I took something close to my blog’s url.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I either use VSCO or I upload my DSLR photos onto my computer to edit them in Photoshop and then download them onto my phone to use in Instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I adore @tuulavintage and @iamgalla

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To be themselves and not overthink their photos so much. There are so many who love Snapchat because they feel there they have more freedom in the type of images they want to post, but I think that same freedom is available on Instagram too, it isn’t all about themed images and color schemes.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love inspiring other people and sharing great places or experiences so that others can go there or try it too.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I never run a campaign for anything I wouldn’t use and personally, adore. If I wouldn’t buy it myself it won’t appear in my feed.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It comes down to being authentic to who you are, and posting images who reflect that.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love being able to promote new products or places that I know my readers will get excited about.
