1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I’m serena. Most of my friends call me nana:) I have actually just resigned from my previous job as a media planner and have decided to build up my passion and skills for baking. I am a self learned baker. Been baking for fun for about 7 years. Now that i have more time to spare, i want to upgrade myself and convert this passion of mine into (hopefully) my lifelong career.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Baking! Food styling and photography! I am glutton. I post mostly food that i made or ate.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Because my friends call me ‘nanatang’. There’s too many nanas around. So they added in my surname. Haha. Serenanatang. My real and nickname combined.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I find instagram editing tools are good enough for me! I don’t want to make too much adjustments to the photos i take. If i want to put in more edits, i will use vsco or colour splash effects.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Definitely a lot of foodies and bakers!
Foodies like weeatfish, juicyfingers and many many more, i really cant remember.
Bakers like ivenoven and nana_cake and many others. Lovely photos and lovely products featured of course.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The new (and lots of extra) bakes i am trying out. They are free:)

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I dont consider myself as an influencer actually. Food and photos are just my interests. But i know that many influencers love the thumbs up (likes). The more the merrier.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be subtle. People nowadays dont really like sponsored posts. Not credible.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Stay real. Stay honest. Be unbaised.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Brands that i associate with. Brands i really love and support.
