Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: René Mueller @renemuellermusic

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is René Mueller, I am 22 and I am from germany.
I am a passionated music lover, a huge watch fanatic, I love fashion. In my freetime I make lot´s of music, write songs and do fitness.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interests are all kinds of music, watches, fashion and cars (mainly oldtimers of mercedes Benz).
Mostly on my instagram account I post music covers of my singing and photos of me wearing my favourite new clothes. I always post 1 Video and 2 photos per week.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, I thought about the easiest and quickest way to introduce my name in order to show people what my account is all about.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

All my pictures are taken by my canon Eos 650d. Via the camera connect I transfer the phtos to my phone. Then I mainly use the App “Enlight”, because there are so many options I can use and it is so versatile. Basically I try to make the photo more brighter and focus on the important spot in the photo.I try to make the photo look as natural as possible and in the same way make it more colourful as it was before. If it is a photo just of me somewhere, I also always use the vignette effect to make the viewer focus on the center of the photo. In order to this I sometimes also use “snapseed” to look if there is a nice filter I could use to make the photo more interesting.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love the page of Camerondallas, Pamela_rf, Tonimahfud and Nick_bateman. I think it is so amazing how the link their passion with product placements and only cooperate with brands they can identify themselves with. Creativity and thoughtful strategies are making their followers happy.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Definitely you should check out the Boomerang app. It is soo much fun making videos with this loop app!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

For me as an influencer it is so amazing cooperation with brands from all over the world. Being in contact with brands from another country and helping them reaching their marketing goals is a really great feeling. In the same way it is amazing to inspire my followers from all over the world with great products from all over the world 🙂

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Looking from the companies side, it is really important to pick the right influencers. It is really important to pick influencers who are reliable, creative and real. And especially influencers who can identify themselves with the product. Otherwise the campaign won´t be as effective as it could be with people who really can identify themeselves with the product and not only doing it because of the money.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I would say it is really important to work close with the influencers and check their content on a daily basis. Content exchange even before the post has happened can be very valuable for the company, because they can help the influencer to adjust their content to be more professional and the influencer gains some experience of the company.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best part about partnering with brands is to work together with huge brands but also really small brands from all over the world.
Getting to know their way of working and gaining international experiences is one of the best parts of those partnerships.
