1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I’m currently studying Spatial Design in Nanyang Polytechnic and I’m from Singapore.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I like food and music a lot. I usually post my selfies and quotes that I came across online that are relatable to me and I also like to post pictures of food and my friends.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
It all started when I first start using Facebook. I wanted a unique name and didn’t want to use my full name so I actually searched for ‘cute nicknames’ on Google and there’s this guy that posted on some website, he said that he calls his girlfriend ‘Oreo’ because she’s sweet like the cookie and I start to try combining my name with it and it sounded pretty ‘cool’ so it grew onto me till this day. So people around me have been calling me ‘Oreo’ and it’s already been 6 years.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I don’t usually put filters on my photos but I do sometimes edit the brightness or the saturation on Instagram itself. But I do use filters so when I do, I use picsart or just a filter from Instagram tools.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I like @Bellywellyjelly on Instagram, she post really nice photos of herself and she also put inspiring quotes on her Instagram. And she’s pretty 🙂
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
One thing my fellow instragrammers gonna try out is food or cosmetic products because I used to have a lot of pimple but now I don’t anymore so many people have been asking me what I did to get this current face of mine so most probably they will try it out.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
I get to influence people around the world and not only my circle of friends because everyone around the whole are able to view my Instagram.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Don’t copy other campaigns and try to be creative and let your imagination flow. But keep it simple so people won’t be confused when looking at it.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Try to be as honest as possible in the content that you will be writing because if it’s not up to what people think it is, they might not want to trust you anymore and it may lead to losing of followers.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I get to know more about the company and also get to know any news about a certain product before others.
