Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Nadine Gloria @nadsgloria

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from the Philippines. I recently quit my job being a Subject Matter Expert in one of a BPO company here in the Philippines. It’s not that I hate the job, I actually enjoy it but for me I need a career growth and to pursue what I really like in life which is having my own business. As of now, I’m merchandising certain products and selling them through online. And once I have already acquired enough money, I might actually have my own stall. Also on my free time, I go places to unwind.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

It’s pretty obvious on my instagram account that I really love to travel. I always find ways to go places I’ve never been, try things I have not experience yet. It really gives me so much chills when I’m in an island or beach. I also love posting products or items that I received from certain people. Before, I used to post photos of foods because that’s my hobby and my stress reliever when I was still studying.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name came from my actual name which is Nadine Gloria. Most people used to call me Nads so I use it for my username then I just included my last name on it, that’s why it became nadsgloria

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Before, I’m using VSCO as my primary app to edit almost all photos that I upload and the most frequent preset that I use is the SE3. I sometimes use Afterlight, but it exerts a lot of effort. But now, since I wanted my photos to look natural, I edit it directly on instagram. Sometimes I use Snapseed, yeah a nice app for editing photos indeed. I don’t put in much filter on my photos anymore, I just play with the adjustments

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I posted on some of my social media accounts about this celebrity here in the Philippines, Nadine Lustre (@nadzlustre). I like her not because we have the same name but because she’s my everything goals, instagram feed goal, travel goals, ootd (outfit of the day) goals, relationship goals, squad goals. I just love everything about her. I also admire Cha Ocampo’s (chaocampoo) instagram. She’s a total package of an island girl, her body is goals and ofcourse her travels are inspiring as well.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I want my fellow instagrammers to also try this StarNgage. It will give them a lot of opportunities to showcase their passion and to tell the stories behind every photos they shared on their social media accounts.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is that it makes me wants to try more things so that I could share it to most people and let them realize that life is more than liking other people’s experiences but they could also try it themselves.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just always follow your passions. Nothing is more authentic than doing campaigns that comes within your passion. Success is focusing on your own work rather than focusing on the failures of others.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Everything is worth the share if it comes with our own hardships and ideas. Yes it’s hard to build our own masterpiece, but it will surely gives us a sense of pride.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The fact that I would be given a chance to actually give insights and reviews with regards to the brands and have an opportunity to contribute on the betterment and innovation of the brands.
