Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Marilyn Soriano @lynyeah

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from the Philippines, photography and fashion is something that I love. I try to find beauty even in the simplest things and capture it to share on my Instagram.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post nature, food and flatlays on Instagram, sometimes I post an outfit shot whenever I get a chance to have a mini photoshoot with my friend.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Lyn is actually what people call me then I just thought of a word with just one syllable to combine with my name

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always use VSCO on all of my photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The Instagrammer I really like is @idaandu I just love her feed, plus, she is a blogger.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Uhm, I don’t really know, maybe refrain from posting too many selfies?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Well, being influencer is a good way to share ideas to people and that would be such a great opportunity.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Choose people that can represent your brand with confidence and not just because you’re paying them to do so.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

That two (quality and original content), is somehow related because having original content is an indicator of quality. Something well-thought of would receive more appreciation than something copied.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Partnering with brands will give me an opportunity to share my ideas to others and I know for sure that it would even let me socialize with different kinds of people.
