Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ki Johnson @Ki.szn

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Kiara but everyone calls me Ki. Im from Brooklyn, New York. Crown Heights to be exact. I’m 22 years old and I’m an artist all around. I model, paint, style, create customs, etc., you name it. I started having love for art since I was a little kid. In school, I was one of two of the best artist. When I noticed I can turn my artistry into visuals and basically anything that can tell a story or idea, I started creating more than ever. I want to build, create and be able to make all of my dreams and ideas successful.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion, Art, Custom designs and The outfits and brands I’d model for.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name came about because I feel like it’s my time. My season to make things happen. And Ki is short for my name Kiara. Majority of people call me by ki. So I came up with @ki.szn

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

No apps really to edit my pictures.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I wouldn’t really have an instagrammer that inspires me but I would say that the instagrammers I do notice are different in their own ways and everyone has their own style and technique of creativeness.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Create something out of the box that’s out of your comfort zone. Whether in pictures, paintings, drawing etc.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to create and make my ideas come to reality. There’s art in everything and I love being able to make my ideas into visual content. I like the fact that I can create something and help others get ideas.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keep it fresh, trendy but also cozy. You’ll maintain authenticity by trying new things and going outside of the box while still trying to keep the trend you’re going for. Don’t make the product as common as others.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is very important. The quality allows the audience to catch and focus on everything in the picture you’re trying to express. Original content shows you and you’re creativeness and what makes you different from the rest. What makes you outstand and showing how you can mix creative thoughts with expressing those creative thoughts in visuals.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like working with others and networking to build and create more. Having new ideas and being able to make it those ideas reality.
