Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Katerina Papadopoulou @katerinawilhelmina

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I am Katerina Papadopoulou, but I am mostly known by my artistic name Katerina Wilhelmina. I am a model, actress, celebrity blogger (Chatter busy owner), brand ambassador and social media influencer. I have worked in advertising for many years (below and above the line). I have studied Greek literature. I am based in Athens, Greece.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fashion,style, acting (especially comedy), fitness, art and celebrity lifestyle. I sometimes share links from my blog posts about celebrities. I often post videos of me while I am dancing and working out and I even share motivational/inspirational quotes in order to encourage people to train hard to get the body they want. I post photos of me from shows and events (photoshoots and behind the scenes photos). Lately I post lip sync and funny videos as well.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My IG name is my artistic name. Through my IG handle I promote myself as an artist.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Lately I use Line Camera to create collages for my blog posts. I have also used Best Me Selfie and Retrica. I really enjoyed the Lumyer app. I sometimes use Aviary. Now I am obsessed about Musical.ly,which is a video app that encourages people to show their talents through challenges on the platform. The filters I use are mostly: Valencia and Amaro.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I have visited some interesting profiles but I try to focus on myself because I want to find my own truth and I don’t want to copy what others are doing and what is trending. Authenticity is everything. I have to admit though that I was blown away by two IG accounts. They are both choreographers: @jubsmore and @mattsteffanina.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I don’t think there is a recipe. The only advice I can give to anyone is to stay authentic and say only what they truly believe. If you focus on yourself and be consistent, success will come in the end.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I absolutely love connecting with people, sharing ideas with them, learning new things (from them) and helping/inspiring/encouraging them to find positive incentives in order to step out of their comfort zone and grow.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

You are open to new ideas, know how to listen to people and not judge them. A brand should always know how their audience feels about a product; if it satisfies their needs and flexibility is everything. Times change and so do people. Nothing and noone should be taken for granted. The competition is tough!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Noone wants a copy. You have to find inspiration on a regular basis. Sometimes it comes from uncomfortable situations and you are feeling really blessed.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I think it is really cool to represent brands you are really proud of. Except for quality, another thing that is very important is the philosophy behind a brand. This kind of brands have in most cases really engaging and captivating mottos that you often use in your personal life. And yes! Brands can influence people and even change their lives. For example the "Just Do It" motto from Nike campaign motivates you to get up and move your body.
