1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a watercolor artist and I buy antiques and paint them with acrylics to bring new life to them.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It was my nickname growing up because there were so many Kates in my social circle with full names like “Katherine”, “Caitlin”, etc.

I paint what I love. When I post a painting and people respond that they like it or identify with it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands should try hard to collaborate with a creative account that matches their style and target demographic. When a post feels like an advertisement and is out of context, it feels fake and forced. Collaborate with instagrammers who are truly a good fit.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

As an artist, it validates your work and helps you reach an audience you did not have the reach to gain exposure with before. People who like your work who would not have seen it otherwise. As a brand it’s a way to partner with a “real” person who your target demographic and customers can relate to.
