Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kanchan lad @Sapphireziva

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a fashion and lifestyle blogger staying in Malaysia(born and brought up in India) for past two and a half year and being a new mommy also sharing all the new things I experience and how it has made me become a better person. I travel a lot with my husband so I feel like I have to share it with my readers – places to see, where to eat and the best places to shop.
I also review beauty and skincare products that I love.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion which has been my passion since childhood, and all the new things of me being a mom and how I enjoy it.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was sitting in my bedroom on of the days my husband was traveling and I wanted a really unique and interesting name for my Instagram account. I started scribbling and because I love the precious stones- Sapphire being my favorite was on top of the list and I felt it was not complete, hence I added Ziva to it which means – radiance. therefore – SAPPHIREZIVA came into existence.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I earlier only used filters that Instagram has – but I keep trying new app downloading from apple store.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

My fav skincare product – SKII facial treatment essence and Starbucks new Coconut strawberry bliss drink.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love when girls tell me they like me and they ask tips on food/places or staying slim or queries about makeup. Mostly when they say" I love you, you are my fav blogger".

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just sharing true reviews and keep it as genuine as possible only after 2-3 weeks of trial.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Keep it simple and be as friendly with your followers as you can, show them you are like them and not some rich celebrity or something. Talk to them or reply to them to make them feel important and good for being with you.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Lucky to try new things and share my reviews with friends and family, and not letting people spend on things which are not worth their money. And events which are always fun and you get to make friends.
