Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jade Manning @ig.foodographs

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi my name is Jade Manning, I’m 21 years old and I’m in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is my final year in culinary school!! I attend Johnson and Wales University, which gave me most of my inspiration for my Instagram page. i enjoy food (of course!), traveling and meeting new people.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Food! I love being to connect and share a new little donut shop I found or highlight a new food item on someones menu. It gives my followers a chance to engage and say, “Hey, I’ve been there! You should try ____”. It also sheds light on small business owners that may not have advertising everywhere.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Jade Manning but, my name doesn’t represent anything with food lol. So, i took the two main things that are on my page! Food and photographs. FOODOGRAPHS

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use my iPhone SE to take all my photos. All I use to edit is VSCO

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

They’re soooooooooo many great food and travel pages that have helped me throughout my journey! One that made me jump and create my own content was @devourpower. They take AMAZING photo and combine travel on there page as well.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would say to try some new food! It’s so easy to eat the same food at home and when going out. Try something new,be adventurous!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

For me, its just about connecting and inspiring others to do things that they love.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

BE YOURSELF! Your follower base will evolve around what you like.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content, is my opinion , sets yo aside form someone else. It pretty much shows who you are without saying anything. I think of content like writing a paper. If you’re going to use someone else stuff make you tag, reference or mention the originator on some way.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

You can connect with people from all over the world! You can gain so much knowledge from them and ideas for your own brand.
