Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Heather Gruber @heathergrubermusic

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello!

I am a singer/songwriter located in Los Angeles, California. I have an extensive background in music, but I currently spend my time making people smile with my ukulele. 🙂
I currently wear many hats, from music supervisor of upcoming shows, to independent artist, to health advocate and friend. I am often identified by my smile and hugs. I love people, and I love encouraging and inspiring those that I come in contact with on social media.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post about music and life in Los Angeles, often focusing on the music industry. I also post about yoga, health, and travel promoting a balanced life of excitement, adventure, love, and peace!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s pretty simple – I’m Heather Gruber, and my Instagram profile focuses on my life as a musician 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I primarily use the instagram app to edit my photos. However, when I want to get fancy I love playing around with enlight or LightX.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Ooooh

Raw vegan food. Converting to raw and clean fuel for my body has just been mind boggling!
Also yoga, it’s amazing what simply checking in with our body every day can do.
Wellness isn’t hard!
I want everyone to try living a life of health and balance. I want them to feel the way I’ve felt since I began my health journey. After loosing 100 pounds, I feel incredible!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Engaging with a network of people who are beautiful and inspiring. I love creating a thriving community of people I believe in who also believe in me; it’s kind of magical.

Social media is an amazing tool that allows us to jump into each others lives. At any moment, all of my friends as well as millions of potential friends are just sitting there living in my pocket, and I can choose to engage with them whenever I want throughout the day. I love how our lives can become integrated. I can share in the joys and difficulties of those that I follow. I can laugh with them, celebrate with them, weep with them and enjoy them.

I love being part of the community.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My goal with every campaign run is to first and foremost identify with the brand – whether I really vibe with their mission or I am an active user of their product. From there, my goal is that every sponsored post would truly be authentic and showcase my life and my heart while partnering with the brand and inspiring people.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content is the most important thing about social media, because it allows you to create in a way that showcases your heart. The purpose of social media is to share what is on our hearts and minds, what is in our present life. It allows for transparency and genuine connection. Original content is the most beautiful and effective way to connect with people.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the opportunity to grow together, to use our strengths, resources, and communities to help eachother thrive. After all, all ships rise with the tide. 🙂
