Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Halie Schoff @hnsfitness

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Im Halie! 22 year old from upstate New York. I’m currently a chiropractic student at New York Chriopractic College. I knew that my passion for health and fitness would drive me toward the path of helping others and that’s how I chose chiropractic. I’m a personal trainer as well so using the two together combine for setting people up for reaching their optimal health. I love sharing my fitness journey on my Instagram and well as helping to educate others on how to be successful in their journey.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are fitness, health, nutrition and food. I post mostly about my workouts and what I eat. Because I’m a trainer it is very useful to show my style of training on social media to showcase what I can offer to clients as well as motivate others to reach their goals

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram came about 2 years ago when I wanted to dial into the fitness community and connect with others along with sharing my own person experience.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually just use Instagram. I try to be as raw as possible because sometimes people can get a wrong impression when all their photos look "photoshop". Not saying I don’t love a great filter ? But most of my pictures are just simple brightness touch ups.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love following Katy Hearn and Cara Maer. They both have inspired me so much and they post awesome content so it’s good motivation to me.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Hmmmm I’d say if they haven’t tried my favorite protein cookie dough then they’re missing out ?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being an influencer because reaching people in order to better themselves is something I’ve always been passionate about and something I hope to continue doing forever and throughout my chiropractic and personal training profession as well as through my social media.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I’d say don’t be general and really do make your followers feel important because that’s how they will buy into the brand and want to connect instead of just reach out for free things.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original content is what makes social media important to me. It’s my page with MY name. I want what’s on thag page to represent me and what I stand for. Therefore I want to showcase what I have to offer to my followers with things they won’t see all over social media. It’s all my own content and it speaks about me as an individual.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love partnering with brands that carry a part of me in what they stand for. It gives me another template to show who I am and how I can connect with other people. Brands bring so many people together and there is nothing better than the sense of community and belonging.
