Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Gina Yin @abcdefginayin

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a Singaporean currently living in Kuching, Sarawak as my husband-to-be is based there. I am currently unemployed, mostly under training to be the next top housewife in Asia (kidding)! I spend my time catching up on my hobbies and finding new ones, I am interested in keeping orchids, preparing healthy meals, designing jewelry, make-up, etc. My greatest hobby is shopping, for myself or for others, and I really enjoy shopping for everything & anything! Also, I am planning my wedding happening end of the year.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post mostly fashion, beauty, food & travel related photos on my Instagram. These are probably my favourite topics!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

This Instagram account is meant for the public, so I wanted a name that was really easy to remember. Who don’t know their ABCs right?

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I am in LOVE with Foodie app & VSCO. I usually just use basic filters to make my photos look slightly more appealing. I don’t edit much other than that, so usually what you see is what you get!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like looking at Jamie Chua’s instagram which showcase her opulent lifestyle, and Stephanie Er’s Instagram for all the magazine worthy photos & Diana Ser’s Instagram who keeps it really real. Note that they are all gorgeous mothers! I think they inspire me in many very different ways.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love sharing experiences, so that will be my favourite part!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keep it real and don’t forget to reward/ notice your paying customers, interact with them because these people are your best influencers! One has to simply read more, see more and listen carefully to maintain authenticity.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality & original content are things that bring people back as it gives values to them. Spend time on those!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

If I were to partner with brands, I would probably like
